NaF |
| Molecular weight: |
41.99 |
| Properties: |
White or off-white powder hardly soluble in water and slightly
soluble in alcohol. The PH value of its aqueous solution is
a little over 7. It is soluble in hydrofluoric acid.
|
| Use: |
Pesticides, corrosion protection for woods, metal fluxing
agent, applied to enamel industry and medical industry, it can
lower the melting point and improve the weld ripples in the
process of cast moulding steel for planer tool; used as the
antiseptics for fermentation, as the raw material for making
fluorides and cockroach-killer, analytical reagent, etc..
