| Properties: |
White needle crystal which is easy to get deliquescent
and lump, soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol.In
hot water it will decompose into ammonia and ammonium bifluoride,
and decompose into ammonia and ammonium fluoride if heated.
The PH value of its aqueous solution is less than 7. It is
corrosive to glass.

Etching agent for engraved glass, antiseptics, solvent for
beryllia to making metal polonium, surfacing agent for analytical
agent and silicic steel plate, the oxidant for making ceramics
and aluminum and magnesium alloy, cleaner for steam generating
system of boiler feed system, fluridizer for organo synthesis,
reagent for extracting rare elements, and plating solution.
